Spirulina

Scientific name : Spirulina maxima.

Description : little rainbow blue alga.

Habitat and culture : harvested in Africa : Tchad and Ethiopia, but it can also be found in America.

Parts used : the whole alga.

Components : 70% of proteins, vitamins (group B including B12 that is found the more often in meal), beta-caroten, minerals (iron, oligo-elements, fat acids…)

Historical : Aztecs used to consume it when they had intense physical activities.

Used : SPIRULINA is used as food supplements for vegetarians and sportives.

It is also very consumed by person on diet in order to be in good condition and to avoid deficiencies.

Presentation : Box of 100 capsules of 255 mg.
